Gulf Radical Cup Report
Salman Bin Rashid upset the form book to take a double in the Gulf
Radical Cup. With the reigning champion pulling out of the series it
appeared that Maurits Knopjes and Bassam Kronfli would be the men to
beat. With the title up for grabs a number of pretenders to throne have
stepped up to be counted. While behind him drivers made mistakes trying to keep up he held his head in a performance that will thrust him into championship contention. Kronfli took second place with Al Owais up next in both races. After a DNF in race one for Knopjes meant he started from the back of the grid for race two. He proceeded to scythe his way through the field and keep himself in the hunt for the title.
